Preparation
I already knew about this of course, Josh (of Joshua Huggett Media – you owe me one for the link btw) and I live very close, south of town and we tend to bounce ideas off of each other all the time, along with Duncan (of Caity and Duncan Melbourne based – you too). We even spent time together in Canada earlier in the year shooting a few wedding shots together among the rocks.
We even convinced Duncan to come over from Melbourne and hold the camera with my wife and I.
I was beyond impressed – and honestly a little annoyed at how good Josh was with his own wedding photography, but qudos to him! Certainly didn’t make my job any easier, but their day turned out great!
Josh — to his credit knows he wasn’t a photographer for his day so is very well behaved in this regard — turned groom, eager to do anything I asked him to do, including jumping in the backyard pool.

Bianca was being groomed at their family home in Flagstaff Hill while their little girl was napping, so we all had to be quiet during the whole process. The aprties of the bride and groom were all excited, chatting and getting ready before they all came back, we had to get going because we ran out of time!
The Manor Basket Range Wedding Ceremony
Bianca and Josh’s wedding ceremony took place in the usual venue in front of the small chapel of the Manor Basket Range, surrounded by friends and family. The weather was a bit overcast, which meant the sunlight filtered through the trees through and through.
I’m pretty sure I’ve never heard a vow so heartfelt, brought everyone to tears by the personal efforts of Bianca and Josh, and their little flower girl star continues to decorate the cake.
Then of course there’s ‘that’ kiss!
Glamor’s photo
For the glamor shot, we got off to a bit of a rough start with a group photo after the ceremony took a bit longer than expected, so we had to change our plans to get to Deep Creek Bridge for a few different shots off location. – but that’s okay, you can definitely spend a lot of time just on the courts of the Manor Basket Range!
As before, the sun shone intermittently over the trees which occasionally cast a delightful glow in the background of some of their scenes, and I was quite happy to make the most of it!
Towards the end of the evening, I took out my smoke in a can and some lights to create the magic inside the castle-like exterior of this amazing place!
The Manor Basket Range Wedding Reception
Like the theme of the previous day with a very well written vow, the all night speech must have been well rehearsed! The night was full of laughter, tears and hugs and the whole event was full of love. Beautiful!

Big thanks to Bianca and Josh for having me as your wedding photographer! And I mean it when I say you owe me for that link!
