They had their Sunnybrae Estate Pavilion Wedding ceremony as their first choice venue, on the grass with a square arbor sadly ruled out due to the weather but this was really the only setback of the whole day which of course never took away this lovely couple!
Sydney prep
Sydney was groomed with his groomsmen in a room at the stunning EoS by SkyCity hotel overlooking Adelaide Oval. The rooms they have are very airy and bright, while we also made sure to use the stunning hotel lobby and even the parking lot entrance for some of the industrial themed shots that Sydney loves so much!

Ritamaree preparation
Ritamaree does more at her prep site – her parents’ house with some of her family and friends! They had a little lunch making for some lovely scenes with all the family members.
It was great not only to see the wedding dress for the first time with Ritamaree’s Dad and Brother, but also that most of the bridal party had never seen the dress either! So we felt beautiful emotions when they walked in and saw her looking radiant in her stunning gown! Not to mention the hundreds of other guests as he descended the stairs!
We needed a bit of photoshop magic to make the corks on their champagne bottles explode, and the bridal cortege was running a little late, but it all put a smile on Ritamaree’s face as she seemed to be having so much fun before her big moment at Sunnybrae!
Sunnybrae Estate Pavillion Wedding Ceremony
Although the weather wasn’t too bad during their Sunnybrae Estate Pavillion wedding ceremony, Ritamaree and Sydney made the mistake of having the ceremony indoors rather than the original plan outside. The weather for the last few weeks has been unpredictable!
That is, their ceremony was held in front of a wide window overlooking a grassy field on the side of the Sunnybrae Plantation.
Their ceremony itself was a nice, simple one with heartfelt vows that made everyone laugh and get to know the beautiful couple a little better, before heading out under the flower petals and hugging and kissing outside under the pergola.
But we headed to the original ceremony site for a group photo with a drone, then a smaller group photo out on the grass.
Glamor’s photo
For the glamor shots, we first used as much of Sunnybrae’s grounds as we could before our time on location ran out – which was good because we managed to capture some nature in their wedding shots before heading to Crozier St in Port Adelaide for a more industrial scene.
Crozier Street was definitely a hit this Saturday as I remember seeing at least 4 other weddings trying to use the area for photos – luckily we got there first and managed to get all the best views!
Wedding Reception Donato Reception Center
The Denato Reception Center is a place I’ve been before, but hadn’t been to in years and I’m so excited to be filming here again! Ritamaree and Sydney took advantage of the stunning sunken dance floor and filled it with fireworks and dry ice for their first dance, while also playing some fun games to get people up to throw garlands and garters!

Thank you so much Ritamaree and Sydney for having me as your wedding photographer at your wedding at Sunnybrae Estate Pavillion! I had a great time, and I hope you enjoy your photos and videos!
