Harbor Metropolis Photos Membership broadcasts {Photograph} Salon winners
Nanaimo’s Harbor Metropolis Photos Membership held its annual {Photograph} Salon exhibit last month and seen 165 entries from expert and beginner photographers all through Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands.
Of those entries, 100 photos have been chosen by a panel of three judges that went on to be exhibited in a print current at Vancouver Island School’s View Gallery from June 18-26, consistent with a launch from the photographs membership.
The chosen 100 have been adjudicated by a second panel of judges and awarded $2,300 in awards and prizes.
Thrall of the twenty first Century by Happy Amarkah obtained every the gold medal throughout the artistic-digital class along with most interesting in current; Hatching Some Fulfilling by Maggie Tilley obtained the oldsters’s different award along with the silver medal throughout the artistic-digital class; Creatrix by Judy Hancock Holland was runner-up for the oldsters’s different award; Abandoned by Maureen Fatin obtained the oldsters’s different award in environmental photojournalism; Falls throughout the Fall by Daphne Carlyle obtained gold medal throughout the panorama class; Whooo Me by Paintings Carlyle obtained the gold medal throughout the open class; and Peaceful Polar Pair obtained the gold medal throughout the wildlife-nature class.
