1. Thematic
If you have opted to choose a theme, make sure you dress your baby accordingly. For a theme that includes flowers, you can dress your baby in a floral skirt, or a floral blanket. If you choose to depict the sky, dress your baby in a light blue blanket (we did that on purpose!), or a set of pastel blue pajamas.
If you choose a theme like underwater or construction, you might want to add colors like green, purple, brown, red, yellow, and orange.
2. Groin
Crotchet items look so cute, especially on babies! Decorate your baby with soft beanies, hats, gloves, etc. for comfortable viewing. You can also get them with animal ears, like elephant ears, dog ears, cat ears and farm animals too!
3. Thick Knitwear
Loose suspenders made of thick fiber provide comfort and style to your baby. For your newborn photoshoot, color code your baby’s outfit with contrasting colors like purple and cream, sage and navy, etc.
4. Linen and Silk
Cotton is common — choose fabrics like linen and silk comfortable and soft, as well as stylish. Silk items like blankets, headbands, ribbons and more make great accessories. A linen shirt with shorts makes a really cool combo!
5. Make Safety a Priority
While many clothes and clothing look great, they may not be completely safe for your baby’s health. Coarse material, containing things such as small buttons, pins, labels, faux fur, etc. which could endanger the safety of your child.
