Somehow, somehow, it just keeps getting better! Whenever I shoot with my girl Ashlyn Carter from Ashlyn Writes, we outdo ourselves. It is SO thrilling to see the brand visual harden and become so recognizable over the last 3.5 years that we have worked together!
This was our fourth shoot together (check out our first shoot here), and our focus is on 1) photos for her Fall 2022 campaign Homepage Homecoming Week (a week-long challenge where she teaches how to write compelling home page copy), and 2) continues to build its library of brand photos for general use across the Ashlyn Writes brand.
Some of my clients have higher visual needs than others, especially when you talk about clients that have content creation to science. Ashlyn is one of those people. YouTube, blogs, newsletters, social, Pinterest, he and his team are popping up all over the place, which means he’s likely to burn through photos quicker than someone with fewer visuals.
One thing I *love* about Ashlyn is how strategic she is about her brand photos- by keeping her visuals fresh, it helps keep her audience engaged, hungry to see what she’s going to do next. So when we started talking about photos for her Fall campaign, I LOVED her because she wanted to go with all the Ivy League/old school homecoming vibes. And then seeing the photos pop up all over social media, the sales page, and the emails during the launch was so much fun!
