This is one of those situations where my shoes and socks got soaked while I was crouching with a tripod. To get a good bounce shot in this situation, you need to get really low and close to the ground. I always pay attention to people’s reactions to my strange position. Muggles think I’m crazy, but I know when it’s OK to make eye contact with other photographers because they give me an understanding nod.
