We’re not that close to Halloween, but close enough for the snapshot I took last weekend during the “Bayerische Landdesaustellung” tour in Ansbach. And definitely a good reminder to make the most of each day, to do what you love and not waste time worrying about the things you can’t change. Because he’s always there…

The statue of the Grim Reaper displayed in this exhibition is made of sandstone and was created by the sculptor Claude Curé in 1723 and is part of the decoration of the princely bishop’s funeral chapel in the Würzburg Cathedral.

Taken with a Leica SL2-S and Vario-Elmarit-SL 1:2.8/24-70 ASPH. RAW to monochrome conversion and some post-processing (mainly cropping) are done in Lightroom Classic.
