Nanaimo stolen bike: RCMP seek for alleged thief caught on digicam

Mounties try to establish a person who allegedly stole a bicycle exterior a Nanaimo, BC, highschool earlier this month.

Police say the bike was stolen close to Wellington Secondary Faculty on Mexicana Highway simply earlier than 3:30 pm on June 2.

Nanaimo RCMP launched a surveillance picture of the alleged perpetrator on Monday.

Police say the person walked as much as the bicycle, eliminated a set of bolt cutters from a backpack and lower the lock earlier than driving away.

Investigators are on the lookout for a white man aged 25 to 30 years who stands 5 toes, 10 inches tall with a muscular construct.

He has brief blond hair and was sporting a black masks, a sleeveless grey shirt and blue denims.

The stolen bike belongs to a Grade 9 pupil at Wellington and is described by police as a black and purple Supercyle mountain bike with serial quantity AH15E087496.
