“Branding” is such a big concept that it can be hard to wrap your head around.

It feels like EVERYTHING is branding. We throw around terms like confetti- we talk about everything from websites to font choices, from clothes to our instagram stories “on or off brand”. Is this the secret definition that only YOU know about your business? Is it something concrete to grasp, or is it more of a fluffy cloud that has no real edge or definition?

In Episode 5, we’ll walk through the obvious, easy to understand definition of what a brand is, the difference between invisible input (important factors you didn’t even realize you were missing) vs. real output (the part everyone wants to focus on because it’s faster and prettier). We will cover six of the most important inputs that a business owner must have, in order to stand out and claim your corner of the market:

  • Why/Mission
  • Score
  • Strength
  • Audience
  • Market Position
  • Messaging

Successful and noteworthy brands don’t happen by chance- they are the result of business owners knowing their brand identity inside and out. This is not an overnight process, and we WANT to let this take time – in a hurry? It can send you running in directions you never went, all because you’re trying to get to it slow cooker results with microwaves.

Listen to this episode, and let this input sink into the back of your brain. You don’t need to have tomorrow’s answer, it’s enough to know it looking for because this input in your own brand will draw your attention to clues you may have missed up until now.
